  Maxie's is a treat. The food is affordable, yet does not feel cheap. They have some great specials, and the staff is very helpful with menu. The food is fantastic, and the portions of the entrees are generous. I typically leave with a take home box for lunch the next day. Don't skip out on this place.

  Came here for dinner on Sunday and sat at the bar. I had 12 Welfleets to start and a Kentucky Sidecar. The oysters were perfect and delicious, and the cocktail was well made. Jambalaya for an entree, it was perfectly spicy and plenty of shrimp, chicken and sausage. I am a big guy who likes to eat, and the portion was too big for even me. Friendly servers and excellent service.

  Iconic drive in. Daily changing custard flavors, make sure to pick up the schedule at the 1st of the month. We always get the burgers, with fried onions. They've retained the 'sameness' for the 30 years we've been going. Inside seating is somewhat limited, but there's seating outside as well. Always a favorite.

  So....Yeah, 5 stars. been here about 8 times from 2007-2015 every time I'm impressed.
  26JAN17 Original comment is above, and nothing has changed. Maxie continues to impress me with very bold flavors i would never think of, and the people are professional but their feet are touching the earth.
